  23. towards topics on Lightwave.  Messages really meant as private e-mail
  24. should be directed to that person's internet address rather than the list.
  25. Also, please use proper netiquette.  Not everyone enjoys messages that
  26. have previous messages quoted verbatim.  Not everyone has 132 column
  27. terminals.  Please don't feel there's too many restrictions though.  This
  28. mailing list is meant for exchange of information.

  30. Also keep in mind that your replies go directly to the author of the message
  31. you are replying to.  If you wish to have the reply directed to the mailing
  32. list, you should use your e-mail software to change the address that the
  33. message is going to rather than adding the mailing list in the cc: field
  34. (carbon copy).  By including it in the cc: field, the author of the message
  35. that you are replying to will get TWO copies of the message.

  58. comp.graphics.packages.lightwave.  Currently, this newsgroup's messages
  59. aren't being archived in an automatic way (if you are archiving them
  60. automatically, please let me know!).  Hopefully, I'll have a newsgroup
  61. gateway into the mailing list so those on the mailing list that don't
  62. have access to Usenet can participate in the newsgroup.

  111. that contains a growing number of Lightwave oriented files (objects, 
  112. scenes, framestores, ARexx macros and much more).  The Lightwave mailing
  113. list message archives can also be found there.

  117. For those of you who can use Mosaic, Keith Christopher has also set up

  120. Looking for even more 3D Objects?  avalon.chinalake.navy.mil has a large
  121. collection of 3D objects in various file formats.  Lightwave can directly
  122. import some of them while others may need converting first via third
  123. party object conversion programs like InterChange Plus and Pixel3D Pro.
